We’re facing a mattering deficit that is contributing to a mental health crisis among school-aged children. In fact, students in high-achieving schools are now being classified as an ‘at-risk’ group, according to a 2019 report published by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine*.

The good news? Educators and parents are well-positioned to create a culture of mattering that offsets these risks.

The key to wellness, satisfaction, and longevity among teachers is mattering.

As a teacher, have you ever felt that you don’t matter?
